Hello, I'm Jay Lee, a nomadic artist.
I began my journey as a self-taught artist in Seoul, South Korea in 2018 and embraced a nomadic art-making practice in 2021.
Since then, I’ve been creating and exhibiting work across the world, including the United States (New York), Mexico (Tulum, Mexico City), Germany (Leipzig, Berlin), Canada (Vancouver Island), Denmark (Copenhagen), United Kingdom (Suffolk), Turkey (Istanbul), and Argentina (Buenos Aires).
In 2025, my journey continues to The South & North Poles (via Patagonia & Norway) and Paris, where I’ll be living and creating in a 150-year-old residency inside a UNESCO Heritage building—where Gauguin once painted. And there’s more to come!
Through this evolving practice, I hope to share my experiences in a digital newsletter, limited-edition small-format artworks mailed in an envelope, and online coaching sessions for creatives and multi-passionate individuals.
